Training Session

An Introduction to Standardization

Tuesday 7 November 2023, 16:30-18:30

Room: Wendelstein+Herzogstand

Trainer: David Boswarthick, ETSI

Background and Motivation:  The purpose of this 90-minute training session is to provide an ‘overview of the world of standardization’. It is intended to introduce several of the key aspects of standardization from a top level, but without providing deep descriptions and detail. Ideally this training session would serve as a ‘standards taster session’ to be used to introduce other, more detailed training sessions on specific topics.

It is hoped this session will answer many of the questions researchers may have concerning standardization and provide links for further reading.

Structure of the Training:
- Session#01 Standardization Overview
- Session#02 Focus on Research & Standardization
- Session#03 Getting results
- Session#04 Tips & Tricks
